Important: There is no metro connecting the airport with the city centre yet. Thessaloniki metro accommodates only the city centre and Kalamaria Municipality and Krini area.

  1. Private Transfer / Pre-Booked Shuttle
  • You can pre-book a private transfer or shuttle with luggage support (usually around €35–€40 or more depending on vehicle size)

  • Taxi apps (Free Now /Uber) work in Thessaloniki and can make rides easier.
  • Buses stop sometime on average after 12.30 am, except the 01N line which is the night line. If arriving late at night, 01N runs less frequently (every hour or so). A taxi or pre-booked transfer is often easier.
